Wiki documents about defining custom stacks and services have lots of outdated
contents.
E.g.[https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/AMBARI/How-To+Define+Stacks+and+Services]
says "These scripts should be provided in the
_<service-id>/<service-version>/package/scripts_ folder" but the
_<service-version> is not necessary._
