kravii updated AMBARI-26519:
----------------------------
Description:
When performing a cluster installation through Ambari Web, the first
installation attempt generates a repository file at
{{/etc/yum.repos.d/ambari-xxx-1.repo}} with an empty {{{}baseurl{}}}, causing
the installation to fail. However, after removing the repo file and restarting
the process from the beginning, the second attempt succeeds with the correct
{{baseurl}} at {{{}/etc/yum.repos.d/ambari-{}}}{{{}xxx{}}}{{{}-2.repo{}}}.
----
h3. Environment
* OS: Rocky 8
* Ambari Versions: 2.7.9 / 3.0.0
----
h3. Steps to Reproduce
# Start a new cluster installation via {*}Ambari Web{*}.
# Proceed through the steps until {*}Install, Start and Test{*}.
# Observe that the installation fails.
# Check the file {{{}/etc/yum.repos.d/ambari-{}}}{{{}xxx{}}}{{{}-1.repo{}}} on
one of the target hosts and note that the {{baseurl}} field is {*}empty{*}.
# Delete the file {{{}ambari-{}}}{{{}xxx{}}}{{{}-1.repo{}}}.
# Return to *Step 1: Select Version* in Ambari Web and restart the cluster
installation process.
# This time, observe that
{{{}/etc/yum.repos.d/ambari-{}}}{{{}xxx{}}}{{{}-2.repo{}}} is created with the
correct {{{}baseurl{}}}, and the installation proceeds successfully.
