h2. Problem
The frontend refactor exposed failures across the maintained Ambari test suites
on current Python, Java, and Node runtimes. Python 3.12 removed the imp APIs
used by service advisors, Java 17 and the Jakarta migration broke several
server, utility, functional, and contrib-view tests, and Jenkins still invoked
legacy frontend test paths.
h2. Scope
* Replace removed Python imp and deprecated ConfigParser APIs while preserving
dynamic service-advisor inheritance.
* Restore server, utility, functional, and contrib-view Java tests on JDK 17.
* Stabilize the Ambari and Admin React tests and align React build tooling.
* Run only the maintained React applications in Jenkins: Ambari, Admin, Files,
and Capacity Scheduler. Ember and Angular tests are intentionally excluded.
h2. Expected result
The maintained Python, Java, and React suites pass on the supported toolchain,
and Jenkins validates all four React applications without invoking legacy Ember
or Angular tests.
