For JPA we need to switch to Eclipselink. Which seems to be feasible, as
Eclipse Link is using the Eclipse Distribution License, and tests with redback
show, that JPA code is still working with some minor additions/modifications.
CXF is not ready yet for Jakarta EE 9.
Latest version is 3.5.0 and we get some class incompatibility errors between
javax.ws.rs and jakarta.ws.rs
So, current showstopper seems to be the CXF library. We will wait for a new
release before starting a new attempt.
All changes available in the jakartaee9 branches.
