I linked this with ARROW-1262. [~kou] would you be able to contribute .deb and
.rpm build scripts to https://github.com/apache/arrow-dist? We should see if
it's possible to build RPM packages for RHEL / CentOS 6, since I've heard a
common concern is being able to deploy on those platforms. Using the
devtoolset-2 it should be possible in theory
