Praveen Kumar Desabandu commented on ARROW-4301: ------------------------------------------------ [~wesmckinn] [~kszucs] This seems to work as expected for me. I ran mvn versions:set -DnewVersion=0.14 from java root and it flipped the gandiva's parent version too in the pom. Note : You will not see Gandiva in the reactor order but that should be ok. Alternatively you can use mvn -P gandiva versions:set -DnewVersion=0.14, to also see Gandiva in the reactor order. Please let me know if i misunderstood the issue (or) there is some weird build order in my box locally because i build with Gandiva profile regularly. > [Java][Gandiva] Maven snapshot version update does not seem to update Gandiva > submodule > --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: ARROW-4301 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-4301 > Project: Apache Arrow > Issue Type: Bug > Components: C++ - Gandiva, Java > Reporter: Wes McKinney > Assignee: Praveen Kumar Desabandu > Priority: Major > Labels: pull-request-available > Fix For: 0.13.0 > > Time Spent: 0.5h > Remaining Estimate: 0h > > See > https://github.com/apache/arrow/commit/a486db8c1476be1165981c4fe22996639da8e550. > This is breaking the build so I'm going to patch manually -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v7.6.3#76005)
