We ran into an issue where Aurora kept electing a leader every 5 minutes. At
one point Aurora gave up and it no more elected a leader. When we ran into this
issue, we tried to restore from an earlier backup. But even when restoring an
older backup we ran into the issue of Aurora leader election again.
Looking into the logs we saw 'Storage Not Ready' and Aurora was trying to
schedule a task on a Mesos slave which was no longer available in the Mesos
cluster. I'm not sure if that could be the reason for Aurora to fail leader
election.
