Hey @big-andy-coates and @nandorKollar, we are affected by this issue and are using a modified version of the code as a workaround. We were thinking of submitting it and found this PR that does basically the same thing. Are there any news on whether the spec or the code will be changed? Could making the validation of logical types an optional/configurable feature help the decision perhaps?
