@martin-g any ETA on this? I do understand that my PR is not fixing anything. My current situation is that I have a struct that derives serde::Serialize, and I need to use the same struct for CSV, JSON, and AVRO. Since I am trying to avoid redundant fields (mostly for JSON), I cannot remove the `skip_serializing_if` directive AFAIK.
