Only tangentially related to this integration, but our usage of the latest
version of the davidmc24 plugin failed to work with avro 1.12.1
I cant be sure if this broke with 1.12.0, as that release had other issues that
blocked our usage
Happy to help to accelerate the introduction of the new shiny plugin if I can
