Thanks for the info. Are you currently working on this [~ryanskraba]? This
issue is currently unassigned. I have plans to resume working on ParquetIO but
I'm currently focusing on other stuff so feel free to take it if you want :)
As for the possibilities - do you know how hard it would be to implement
PARQUET-1126? Judging from what you said it is the best option.
