                Author: ASF GitHub Bot

            Start Date: 07/Oct/19 17:02
    Worklog Time Spent: 10m
Work Description: amaliujia commented on issue #9737: [BEAM-8359] Move
ZetaSQL to Calcite translator to separate module
URL: https://github.com/apache/beam/pull/9737#issuecomment-539109174

One side issue though is this separation makes a new SQL tests run for both
dialects a bit harder(maybe we can start from duplicate tests than a nicer
parameterized approach), as two dialects will be in different modules.

> This module has protobuf and gRPC on its surface (for now anyhow) and is
> totally independent of the core Beam SQL. Moving to its own module will
> protect Beam SQL users from the protobuf and gRPC dependencies and clean the
> build slightly, removing some Gradle hacks.
