Can we have review of these instructions from one or two other Eclipse users?
If the instructions are good, I think we could convert them into a patch,
adding a section to site/_docs/howto.md and checking in
lifecycle-mapping-metadata.xml at an appropriate point in the source tree (not
in the root directory. where do other projects put such files?)
