I am not sure about adding more ReduceExpressionRules. So far
ReduceExpressionRules are performing reductions over RexNode trees. It appears
that you want to apply simplifications across RelNodes. Is this the case?
For the case of Sort have you checked the SortRemoveConstantKeysRule?
