[~vladimirsitnikov], to reproduce this issue in Drill, Calcite should be built
from this branch: [https://github.com/vvysotskyi/calcite/tree/CALCITE-2223-18]
(it contains changes from your PR) and then Drill should be built from this
branch: [https://github.com/vvysotskyi/drill/tree/CALCITE-2223_merge] (it
contains commit which reverts the fix for DRILL-6212).
With these changes, {{TestProjectWithFunctions.testCastFunctions()}} test will
fail with OOM.
