The variance of the results is odd, however, gc.alloc.rate.norm is 1064 with
pre-sized collection and
4544 without initial capacity. It does sound like a 4 times allocation
reduction.
PS. In 99.42% of the cases, you could cut {{churn.PS_}} rows from JMH output.
