[~tjbanghart], I suggest that you cherry-pick both commits in
[julianhyde/5180-big-query-date|https://github.com/apache/calcite/compare/main...julianhyde:calcite:5180-big-query-date]
over to your dev branch. They are tests for several SQL functions, and should
pass CI already (because the tests that fail are disabled). You can uncomment
tests as you get functions working.
