hi please use below maven command to compile with spark 3.1 :- clean install -U -Pbuild-with-format scalastyle:check checkstyle:check -Pspark-3.1 -Dspark.version=3.1.1 -Djacoco.skip=true -DskipTests java -version :- java version "1.8.0_221" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_221-b11) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.221-b11, mixed mode) First try with above maven command then you can check for java version .
