Girish Shilamkar commented on CLOUDSTACK-931: --------------------------------------------- The test plan for testing memory limits with multiple child domains is ambiguous. Need clarity on following things: 1. We are creating parent domain with 10 gb limit and two child domains with 5 gb limit. Summary tells to limit memory of admin and user account of each of the child domain with 2 gb limit. But this is not mentioned in the test steps. 2. Second steps says Deploy VM's by Domain1 admin1/user1/ Domain2 user1/Admin1 account and verify the resource updates Does this mean we have to deploy vm for admin as well as user account OR admin or user account? 3. Third step says Deploy VM by admin account after reaching the max parent domain limit Expected result says "Memory usage should list properly for account and domain". However here VM creation should fail because maximum memory limit has been reached. Same applies for deploying vm with child user account (4th step). Thanks, Girish > [QA] Test Limit resources funationality to domains/accounts > ----------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: CLOUDSTACK-931 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-931 > Project: CloudStack > Issue Type: Sub-task > Security Level: Public(Anyone can view this level - this is the > default.) > Affects Versions: 4.1.0 > Reporter: Sailaja Mada > Assignee: Sailaja Mada > Fix For: 4.2.0 > > > 1.
