Sanjay Tripathi commented on CLOUDSTACK-1961:
---------------------------------------------

I am pushing "Alt + Shift"and "Caps Lock" to CLOUDSTACK-1964 as these issues
are similar to the issues in CLOUDSTACK-1964.
Also resolving the ticket.

> Project: CloudStack
> Issue Type: Bug
> Security Level: Public(Anyone can view this level - this is the
> default.)
> Components: VNC Proxy
> Affects Versions: 4.2.0
> Environment: Build No.#133
> (CloudStack-non-OSS-MASTER-133-rhel6.3.tar.gz)
> XenServer6.1 for Host Server, CentOS6.3 for NFS server and CloudStack-Mgr
> Server, Win7Entx64SP1 for Client machine.

> Assignee: Sanjay Tripathi
> Priority: Critical
> Fix For: 4.2.0
>
>
> Steps
> Setup the CloudStack environments with build 4.2#133.
> Add EN-US-Win7 template and then create as an instance.
> Open Firefox, launch the EN-US-Win7 via ConsoleProxy in client machine.
> Hit all the keys with EN-US standard keyboard.
> Expected Result
> All the keys should remap as same as the EN-US standard keyboard layout
> behavior.
> Actual Result
> Common issues found in English OS with EN Keyboard
> 1 "Alt + Shift" combination: Alt+Shift used to change the keyboard layout
> when two are more keyboard layouts are available in a OS. Alt+Shift
> combination is not working few time, with the reproducible frequency of about
> 30%.
> 2 "Caps Lock": Caps Lock functionality is reversed in the VM provided by
> Console Proxy. When "Caps Lock" is turned on, Console Proxy types lower case
> characters and vice versa. (Note:If the properties of “Caps Lock” in both VM
> and Client are kept the same at first time, the Caps Lock functionality works
> well.)
> 3 "Ctrl + Space" combination: When 3rd party input method like "Chinese
> Sougou" is installed in English OS, then Ctrl+Space can be used to change the
> input between "English" & "Chinese Sougou".
> 4 "Ctrl + Numpad .": This combination behaves like "Ctrl+N".
> 5 "Shift + Numpad -": Echoes underscore, whereas the expected is hypen.
> 6 "Shift + Numpad /": Echoes question mark, whereas the expected is slash.
> 7 "Menu": Not working, whereas the expected is just like right clicking
> funtion.
