I have the same bug and found a quick and dirty temporary solution. 

Deeper investigation shows the problem appears for those having CEPH RBD 
storage set as Zone-Wide. In this case Pod and Cluster fields of the 
storage_pool table are NULL and API returns incorrect hypervisor values.

As a quick fix you can alter the RBD storage record in the storage_pool table 
and manually set the Pod and Cluster values. Then the system will return 
hypervisor type as set for the Cluster.

This bug is pretty old and annoying, please be so kind to fix it in the 4.4 
release!
