Rohit Yadav commented on CLOUDSTACK-8322:
-----------------------------------------

Running the password server on https has all sorts of certificate and backward
compatibility issues (wrt the client/user vm scripts), will do it future when
those are quite clear. For now, the python based password server is
significantly better than the socat based one.

> Make Python based password server use SSL cert and listen on secure socket
> (443, or 4443) if enabled by admin

> VR can pick same SSL cert used for CPVM/SSVM and use that to listen on a
> secure socket (along with the HTTP port) to serve password.
