I don't believe that people catch NullPointerException in production - not when
Throwable is available :)
15 NullPointerExceptions, 21 IllegalArgumentExceptions with 'must not be null'.
Looks like the addition of the filefilters brought 20 of those 21 in, with the
other being LineIterator.
