Review Comment:
   Since Commons does **not** enforce a deterministic formatting style, I stick 
to the Palantir Java format so I don’t have to decide when to insert a newline 
and when not.
   
   I’m fairly agnostic about the specific style, my main goal is to avoid 
thinking about formatting at all, so if you have a “better” option in mind, I’m 
happy to switch.
