[~ggregory] and [~erans], as [~melissalogan] has indicated, neither the Board
or Trademarks approved _*any*_ change of project names from Apache PROJECTNAME
to something else. The Foundation is only using "ASF" as shorthand for its full
legal name, but that option has not been granted to individual projects at this
time.
If Apache Commons wants to be referred to as "ASF Commons," the PMC will need
to seek permission from Trademarks at the very least and possibly the Board as
well.
M&P will _*not*_ supply what we currently deem to be a non-conforming logo, and
any use of a non-compliant logo by Apache Commons created by anyone will be
reported to Trademarks.
