Looking at the link, this seems a large enough feature to do post 1.0. It seems
to me that the features offered on annotations (format, size, trim, and so on)
should also be offered in the API. It still feels like JPA-lite without SQL; I
know JPA is a big beast so the comparison is not fair. For now, I'd like to see
a smaller feature set for 1.0 and move on from there.
