Mark Thomas resolved DBCP-246.

Resolution: Fixed
A dependency on Commons Logging has been added to DBCP 2.
At present it is limited to logging exceptions that would otherwise be
swallowed by the Pooling implementation (Commons Pool 2).
The preferred way to monitor the state of the DBCP is via JMX but additional
logging can be added as required. Any specific request for additional logging
should be made via a new Jira issue.
