Joe Bowser resolved CB-2955.
----------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Reverted the fix, because if a deprecated API is breaking a supported API, it's
not a fix at all:
https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/cordova-android/?p=cordova-android.git;a=commit;h=e7e2730929159a0af743e62e14abc871134f9b08
This decision was based on a past discussion about WebSQL on the Apache Cordova
mailing list on Feb 2013:

> The storage API localStorage is not persistent.
> The fix from commit 17b668a1 ( CB-2085: Fixing deleted database for
> ChildBrowser) seems to break things for me.
> IMHO there is no local overwrite for window.localStorage in cordova-2.5.0.js
> (At least I do not find it) in the file installed by the create command.
> I am using Cordova on a Android 4.2 device and the SDK_INT is greater than
> honeycomp.
> If I revert commit 17b668a1 localStorage is persistent again.
