Answer by Bibzball in the Reddit I linked seems to be a workaround too ; it
works fine in my case:
add a `build-extras.gradle` file with following content
```
configurations.all {
resolutionStrategy {
force 'androidx.core:core:1.6.0'
force 'androidx.core:core-ktx:1.6.0'
}
}
```

I do it with a copy of `build-extras.gradle` into
`<your-project>/platforms/android/` through a script referenced as a `
src="scripts/my-copy-script.js" />` in `config.xml`.
