Much of that expanded information (especially whether this call is coming from
CLI or not) is not readily available to plugman at fetch time.
Also each new field we add will significantly increase the rate at which we'll
fill up our (generously donated) IrisCouch instance and annoy our benefactors.
I considered splitting the date into an array, having seen that trick
elsewhere. It can certainly work, but I'm not convinced that it gains us
anything we can't get with a view and a key range. Perhaps it would run a bit
slower, but I don't think we'll be making that query very often.
