Installing latest phonegap with "npm install -g phonegap" as described here:

Works until trying to add plugins. E.g. Notification or Contact. After that it
becomes impossible to build the projects with "phonegap build" command -
platforms are missing files, etc.
Removing/uninstalling plugins doesn't resolve the issues.
Tried with the latest (3.0.9) cordova version (ie "npm install -g corodva) as
described at https://npmjs.org/package/cordova. The same issue.
Work-around: intalling the 3.0.0 version of cordova via "npm install -g
corodva@3.0.0).
To resolve: either need to fix the issue, or update the documentation to not
download the latest, but a stable release instead.
