Shazron Abdullah commented on CB-4990: -------------------------------------- Hmm yeah this was a recent change of mine in "run" -- if there is a device build (you wouldn't have one if you didn't have the certs, etc), run it using ios-deploy no matter what. With your change, --emulate would override this. > Can't run emulator from cordova cli > ----------------------------------- > > Key: CB-4990 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-4990 > Project: Apache Cordova > Issue Type: Bug > Components: CLI, iOS > Affects Versions: 3.1.0 > Environment: OS X 10.8.5, Xcode 5, ios-sim 1.8.2 > Reporter: Michael Gauthier > Attachments: log.txt > > > Cordova 3.1.0 CLI doesn't run the emulator properly for iOS. It might be > broken for other platforms as well. Cordova CLI 3.1.0 was installed using > {{npm -g}} > In the following test, the project is created and the ios platform is added. > The {{cordova emulate ios}} looks like it compiles in the background but the > emulator is never opened. > {code:none} > $ cordova create test-cli com.silverorange.test-cli TestCLI > $ cd test-cli > $ cordova platform add ios > $ cordova emulate ios > {code} > If I enter the platform dir and run the emulate command directly, the > ios-simulator opens as expected. > {code:none} > $ cd platforms/ios/cordova > $ ./emulate > {code} -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.1#6144)
