Do you mean that it would be confusing if the user could choose to set it in
config.xml (CLI way) and also in Info.plist (platform way)?
It is confusing to users now because the documentation indicates that this is a
global preference for CLI and (as far as I can tell) there is no mention of it
not working on iOS:
