Resolution: Not A Problem

It's not a problem, you have to work on the root config.xml and changes are
passed to the res/xml/config.xml on prepare or build, everything you write on
res/xml/config.xml will be deleted.
The doc wasn't very clear because it was telling to add plugins on the
res/xml/config.xml, but now it indicates that you should use the plugin.xml to
copy these values
