Not sure why some in this thread are calling for Cordova developers to "fix 
this". We can't fix it (like mentioned before, this issue is an Apple thing), 
except perhaps keep this thread alive for discussion of workarounds - which 
seems (from the Cordova-Plugin-Sync-Cookies plugin) to be a native code xhr 
call, then you wait for a certain time period for further xhr calls...
