Well, I think this change will change the semantics of the conduit slightly or
more precisely speaking change the identity of the conduit.
when someone is setting a URL with no port to their conduit, my personal
opinion is to leave this url as is until this info (the missing port) is needed
instead of explicitly to convert the url set in the conduit.
