Victoria Markman commented on DRILL-3291: ----------------------------------------- Having spent some time debugging some obscure failures in drill lately, I think this enhancement is going to solve serious usability issue. Being: WebUI shows only last 100 queries. If you want to analyze query 101 - you are on your own. I tried configuring schema to read ".drill" files off profiles directories and creating views on top of that ( which potentially could be a good thing to ship, but somewhat duplicating UI. Not sure if we want that ) If we allow to see any profile through WebUI as this enhancement suggests, then together with the fix for: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DRILL-2861 - managing profiles as log files (not harvesing profiles, causes incredibly slow UI response) will alleviate some pain right away. > utility that runs the profile ui against a query profile file. > -------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: DRILL-3291 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DRILL-3291 > Project: Apache Drill > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: Tools, Build & Test > Reporter: Deneche A. Hakim > Assignee: Steven Phillips > Priority: Minor > Fix For: Future > > > As of Drill 1.0 there is no easy way to view query profile files (json) > through the Web UI. The purpose of this task is to create a tool that > displays a given query profile json file through the Web UI. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
