I'm putting a note here, that we should not merge this as is. [
Drill-8085](https://github.com/apache/drill/pull/2419) by @paul-rogers
introduces the V2 EVF. It doesn't really make sense to merge this using the V1
EVF, while the V2 EVF is nearing completion.
