ibrahim kimbugwe commented on FINERACT-1949: -------------------------------------------- [~bgowda] This change is very common here in east africa and many African countries that support Group management where group members save. A member of that institution can deposit his money in branch A and travels to an area with branch B and needs to withdraw his/her money. In this case, a branch B staff must be able to access the client information much as the client is in branch A. For the accounts, the corresponding branch GLs are affected. It is a high priority since any multiple-branch institution would wish to serve its clients across all its branches and I would say that if we have it it would be a huge plus for the entire EA market. > Access customer information accross a multiple branch institution > ----------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: FINERACT-1949 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FINERACT-1949 > Project: Apache Fineract > Issue Type: Improvement > Affects Versions: 1.7.0, 1.8.3 > Reporter: ibrahim kimbugwe > Priority: Major > Fix For: 1.9.0 > > > Currently, the fineract allows a scope of branch teams to access branch > information unless they're added at head office. This feature should however > be extended to make sure that customers of a particular branch can be served > at another branch. Cases include doing deposits and withdrawals. > [~francisguchie] and [~bgowda] whats your take on this? > -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010)
