Description The fineract-consumer-facing repository recently added a CLAUDE.md via [PR #142](https://github.com/apache/fineract-consumer-facing/pull/142) to publicly document the AI context used during development, in alignment with the ongoing Fineract dev mailing list discussion on AI use across the ecosystem ([thread](https://lists.apache.org/thread/fo3rdlb92f88o84s5dgqyosk6cnmmgd2)). The same transparency and contributor guidance should be applied consistently to the fineract-loan-origination (LOS) repository. Two actions are proposed: ## Changes - `AGENTS.md` — documents LOS stack, architecture conventions, and working norms for AI-assisted development - `.github/PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE.md` lightweight PR template with optional AI tool disclosure block for contributors ## Notes - AI disclosure in the PR template is optional; it does not gate contributions - No functional code, tests, or business logic changed - Follows the naming discussion from the dev mailing list — `AGENTS.md` is preferred over `CLAUDE.md` to keep the codebase agent-agnostic **JIRA:** [FINERACT-2442](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FINERACT-2442) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
