Fixed the checkstyle issue (ParenPad) in the latest push; checkstyle, javadoc, spotbugs and cucumber now pass. The remaining failures (spotless, WAR smoke test, all E2E shards) all stop in the first seconds at `spotlessGroovyGradle` with `Failed to provision P2 dependencies ... could not parse the content at https://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/4.29/p2.index`. download.eclipse.org is currently serving a "Temporary shutdown" page (Eclipse Foundation has its PHP sites offline for a security update today, see https://www.eclipsestatus.io/), and other PRs fail the same way.
