Hmm. I suspect it crashes before it can write the log. You can try watching
the log screen to try to see what the last thing it says is, but that might
happen too fast.
At the first Installer screen, right-click and choose "Configure Download
Cache". Make sure cache download files is unchecked. If it was checked theres
a chance that there was bit-rot in the file in the cache.
You said you are trying to install the SDK along with AIR 16 or 17 ,but what
version of AIR are you running on your system right now?
