[~aharui] I ended up re-writing the entire feature myself, so none of the code
is the same. But the code I found online did inspire me to make this fix. The
original code I found was back in 2012 and it added support for a
'compilerConstants' property, but it was limited to adding '-define' and it
didn't work for String values. So, I can't give the original author much
credit other then inspiring me to write a better solution.
