   If you have strong preference here, that's fine with me. In that case please 
adjust the existing processors in a separate commit and drop the outer loop.
   
   Just to be clear, this `StreamTwoInputSelectableProcessor#processInput()` 
should be split into smaller methods before merging this PR regardless of the 
outer/inner loop discussion.
