@thvasilo , @chiwanpark I have added a wrapper for the scala utils class.
Further, there are a few more methods:
1. For Discrete histograms: *entropy* and *gini*
2. For Continuous histograms: *min*, *max*, *mean*, *variance*
I've updated the documentation to reflect these additions.
This is more or less complete now. We can modify the scala utils api in a
separate PR. I will file a JIRA for that and open a PR. It just involves some
copy-pasting of the existing code,
Should be mergeable now.
