Support for the partition-centric computation model has long been in Gelly's
roadmap. The model exposes the partition structure to the user and allows
exploiting the local graph structure inside a partition to avoid unnecessary
communication. A more thorough description of the model and its advantages can
be found in [this paper|

Kien and Nikola from KTH are currently working on this and will be ready to
share results soon. You can keep track of our progress in [this
repository|https://github.com/vasia/gelly-partition-centric].
