There is a problem with bumping the version because our Producer was using some 
internals that have changed in Kafka 2.3.x. (see 
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-15362?focusedCommentId=17078507&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels%3Acomment-tabpanel#comment-17078507).
