from [~AHeise] assessing FLINK-21535 was that {{UnalignedCheckpointITCase}} is
running for too long in some cases. This might be the reason for us seeing
different outcomes of the test (OOM, timeout). FLINK-21689, FLINK-21535 and
FLINK-21540 might be related. Arvid is looking into it.
