Fil Karnicki commented on FLINK-25866:
--------------------------------------

Hi [~igal]. Will task executors will have access to resources from the job jar?
The way I imagined it was that the job manager serializes the config and it's
the task executor that will need to take this config string and load the bytes
from somewhere

I wasn't suggesting replacing the ability to provide a location with the
content, but rather adding the choice. Does this clarification help making you
more comfortable with the proposal, or should I keep thinking?

> Support additional TLS configuration.

> Currently the default HTTP client used to invoke remote functions does not
> support customising the TLS settings as part of the endpoint spec definition.
> This includes
> using self-signed certificates, and providing client side certificates for
> authentication (which is a slightly different requirement).
> This issue is about including additional TLS settings to the default endpoint
> resource definition, and supporting them in statefun-core.
