[~melin] To be honest, I don't see much value in creating tickets like these
without a discussion on the Dev mailing list and a FLIP. Without a discussion
or a design, I don't see anything happening with this ticket. This is also
applicable to other tickets you've created like FLINK-30123 and FLINK-30126
